The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) chief issued a stern warning that any external aggression against Pakistan will be met with a swift and decisive military response. Speaking to senior officers and media representatives, the ISPR head underscored the armed forces’ commitment to defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs.
Emphasizing preparedness and vigilance, the ISPR office reiterated that Pakistan’s defence institutions remain fully capable of responding to threats from any quarter. The chief highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen operational readiness, enhance border security, and maintain robust deterrence through coordinated land, air and maritime capabilities.
The statement also called for national unity and restraint, urging political leadership and citizens to support the military’s defensive posture while avoiding actions that could escalate tensions. Stressing that Pakistan seeks peaceful relations with neighbouring countries, the ISPR chief said diplomacy will always be pursued, but not at the expense of national security.
Military spokespersons noted that surveillance and intelligence assets have been intensified in sensitive areas and that contingency plans are being regularly reviewed to ensure rapid, proportionate action if necessary. The ISPR reiterated its resolve to protect civilians and critical infrastructure while minimizing the risk of wider conflict.
