The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Sunday that two matches of the ongoing PSL X have been rescheduled due to rising temperatures and logistical considerations. One match originally set to take place in Multan will now be hosted in Lahore, while another has been postponed by a day.
Multan vs Karachi Match Moved to Lahore on May 1
The May 1 afternoon fixture between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings, initially scheduled at the Multan Cricket Stadium, will now be held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, starting at 3 PM.
The shift turns the Lahore venue into a double-header host on Labour Day, a national public holiday, offering fans a full day of cricket action.
Lahore to Host Evening Match as Planned
Later that same day, Lahore Qalandars will take on Quetta Gladiators in the originally scheduled evening clash at 8 PM at the Gaddafi Stadium. This match remains unchanged.
Fans who had already purchased tickets for the Lahore evening game can now attend both matches with the same ticket, offering an unexpected bonus for spectators.
Multan vs Quetta Match Moved to May 11 Evening
The second scheduling change involves the Multan Sultans vs Quetta Gladiators match, which was set for the afternoon of May 10 in Multan. It will now take place on the evening of May 11, starting at 8 PM, at the same venue.

The change was made to ensure better playing conditions for both players and fans as extreme heat continues to impact various regions of Pakistan.
Ticket Refunds and Reuse Policy
To accommodate fans affected by these changes, the PCB has outlined a clear refund and ticket reuse policy:
- Online ticket buyers for the May 1 Multan match will receive automatic refunds to their original payment accounts.
- Tickets bought at express centers must be refunded in person at TCS outlets.
- Tickets for May 10 will remain valid for May 11.
The board expressed regret for the inconvenience and thanked fans for their understanding and continued support.
Operational and Weather Challenges Prompt Decision
The PCB said the decision was made after extensive consultation with stakeholders, taking into account both operational feasibility and safety concerns related to recent heatwaves across parts of the country.
By relocating and rescheduling the matches, the board aims to provide a better experience for players, officials, and spectators alike.
