ISLAMABAD: The federal government kept unchanged prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight till Nov 30.
The people are expecting relief in petroleum prices because of a decline in international oil prices and supply of Saudi oil in deferred payment, but the coalition government has been pursuing the mission of mopping much maximum revenue from the consumers.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced this Tuesday night in a televized address from the Finance Division in Islamabad.
He said that he discussed OGRA’s summary with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as per practice and after due deliberation, it was decided to maintain the current prices for the next fortnight. Below are the current petroleum products:

Finance Minister also stated as per the earlier announcement the SBP and NBP appeals challenging the implementation of the Federal Sharia Court’s decision an interest-free and Islamic banking system in the country have also been withdrawn.
