Nabela Noor is embracing a new chapter—one rooted in self-discovery, confidence and learning how to dress a body that feels both familiar and brand new.

The lifestyle creator, who first rose to prominence on YouTube in 2013, recently shared that she has lost a significant amount of weight, a change that’s prompted her to rethink her personal style. In a TikTok video posted Dec. 12, Nabela revealed she has lost 60 pounds and is still adjusting to what that means for her wardrobe and self-image.

“I have lost 60 pounds,” she shared candidly. “I’m a size large, size 12, and I’m still discovering my body and figuring out what my fashion sense is.”

Now 34, Nabela has been open with her audience about her health journey, often sharing glimpses of balanced meals and pilates workouts over the past year. But she’s equally transparent about the emotional side of transformation—especially when it comes to clothing and how deeply personal getting dressed can feel.

While trying on holiday outfits in the video, she explained how long-held insecurities have shaped the silhouettes she’s chosen in the past. Wearing a denim dress, she reflected on her usual preferences and the internal dialogue that still shows up.

“I’m typically someone that gravitates toward a silhouette that tapers off from the waist,” she said. “But this is so pretty otherwise.”

That moment perfectly captured where she is right now—caught between old habits and new possibilities. In the caption of the accompanying Instagram post, Nabela summed up her current goal with honesty and grace: learning to love the parts of herself she once tried to hide and discovering which pieces in her wardrobe make her feel the most celebrated.

A longtime advocate for body positivity, Nabela has never shied away from discussing self-love and self-care with her audience. She shares daughters Amalia, 3, and Aveena, 2, with her husband Seth Martin, and motherhood has only deepened her commitment to modeling kindness toward oneself.

“I love talking about self-love and self-care, and I believe both are necessary in your journey,” she told Popsugar in 2022. “Something that I’m really passionate about is helping people love the skin that they’re in and just being kind to themselves. That’s been the root of all of my work.”

Over the past year, Nabela has also emphasized that her professional success and improvements in her health didn’t come from reaching a certain size—but from believing in herself at every stage.

“Self-love is about being unconditionally loving to yourself, even when you don’t want to get up in the morning,” she shared. “I’m finally in a place where I’m like, ‘This is me and this is who I want to be, and I’m really freaking proud of it.’”

Nabela isn’t the only public figure opening up about weight loss and the realities that come with it. Other celebrities have also spoken candidly about their journeys, highlighting that physical change often intersects with emotional growth.

Bravo host Andy Cohen recently detailed his own health and fitness experience, revealing that he used an Ozempic-like GLP-1 medication under a doctor’s guidance. Speaking on his SiriusXM radio show, Cohen explained that his decision was rooted in overall health, including managing cravings, blood pressure and heart health. He noted that the medication helped him regain discipline with eating and exercise after struggling for years.

Meanwhile, singer Jelly Roll shared in November 2024 that he had lost an impressive 120 pounds. The artist explained that he chose to be public about his journey to stay honest and accountable—not just with fans, but with himself.

“I did this publicly for a reason,” he said on his wife Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast. “I want to be honest about my struggles with it.”

More importantly, Jelly Roll emphasized that his success was never defined by his size. “I didn’t become successful because of my weight,” he said. “I became successful in spite of it.”

For Nabela Noor, the journey continues—one outfit, one moment of self-acceptance at a time. And as she steps into styles she once avoided, she’s reminding her audience that growth isn’t just about changing your body, but about changing how you see yourself.
