The Deputy Commissioner of Attock has issued a notification declaring Thursday, August 28 as a local holiday across the district. The decision has been taken to mark the annual Urs of Hazrat Sakhi Sultan, a revered Sufi saint of the region.

According to the official announcement, all government offices and educational institutions operating under the Attock district administration will remain closed for the day. However, essential services such as healthcare and emergency operations will continue without interruption.
