Govt Reduces Petrol Price by Rs1.97 Per Litre for Next Week

ISLAMABAD: The government announced a reduction in the prices of key petroleum products for the next week, providing some relief to consumers amid fluctuating global oil trends.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy, the price of petrol has been lowered by Rs1.97 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs297.53 per litre.

The price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has also been reduced. The new price of HSD is now set at Rs300.78 per litre, down from the previous rate.

The price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has been cut by Rs4 per litre, bringing it down to Rs180.50 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of Kerosene Oil has been reduced by Rs2.50 per litre, with the new rate now standing at Rs198.03 per litre.
