Shehbaz Sharif tables no-trust move against Prime Minister in National Assembly

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif today presented no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in the National Assembly.

Opposition leader read the no-confidence move as per the rules of the National Assembly.

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Qasim Soori adjourned the NA session till March 31, 2022. Now the NA will meet on March 31 at 4pm to debate the no-confidence move before holding voting on it.

Shortly before the session, the NA speaker met Opposition leaders, where Qaiser assured them that the session would be adjourned after the no-confidence motion is tabled.

The leaders agreed that the session would resume and the house would debate on the no-trust motion, sources said.
