In September, the southeastern regions of Sindh may expect more rain than usual, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

According to the Met Office, the province is anticipated to have significant rains in September from at least two monsoon systems. It is anticipated that Tharparkar, Umarkot, and Badin may have significant rains—20–30% more than usual.

According to the Met Office, heavier-than-average rains might make the situation in the flood-affected areas worse. Lower Sindh could experience moderate to severe flooding as a result of the rain.

Additionally, Sialkot, Narowal, and Lahore in northern Punjab were expected to receive more rain than usual, according to the Met Office. These places could get 10 to 15% extra rain.
