ISLAMABAD: A fact finding committee of the Joint Investigation Team recorded the statements of medical officers of PIMs hospital who conducted the post-mortem of journalist.
Arshad Sharif was brutally shot dead by Kenyan police in Nairobi on Oct 29 this year.
The PIMs team who conducted the post-mortem also briefed the fact finding team while the JIT representatives also asked many questions from the medical officers.
The medical team of PIMS handed over the photographs taken during the post-mortem of Arshad Sharif.
After recording doctors statements, the fact finding committee conducted its fifth meeting and reviewed the progress of investigation of the slain anchorperson.
The JIT members also advised the committee to take into its possession belongings of Arshad Sharif from Kenya.
On Oct 29, Kenyan police shot dead Arshad Sharif in Nairobi. After this killing, Kenyan police kept on changing their stances about the tragic incident.
However, on the intervention of the Supreme Court, an FIR has been registered against three hosts of Arshad Sharif in Kenya, believed to be involved in the murder case.
