Bologna Beat AC Milan to Win First Coppa Italia in 51 Years

Islamabad, 15 May, 2025: Bologna surprised AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico by beating the seven-time UEFA Champions League winners 1-0 to win the 2025 Coppa Italia.

The Rossoblu claimed their first title since 1974, only the third time in their history thanks to a outstanding performance against Milan.

Bologna pressed hard from the start, pushing Milan back. The Rossoneri struggled to respond to the pressure.

Bologna coach Vincenzo Italiano gave clear instructions, determine not to lose a third final of his young career.

Key players like Rafael Leao, Theo Hernandez, Christian Pulisic, Luka Jovic and the Rossoneri failed to make any change.

The 19-time Serie A winners were unable to build attacks or create chances.

Meanwhile, Bologna took the lead via Dan Ndoye early in the second 45, who calmly finished after the ball fell to him inside the box, beating goalkeeper Mike Maignan.
