Global K-pop icons BTS have officially revealed the comprehensive tracklist for their upcoming fifth studio album, ARIRANG, sending fans into a frenzy ahead of its March 20 release . The project spans 14 songs and marks the group’s first complete studio effort in six years, following 2020’s Be .

Inside the Lead Single ‘SWIM’
The title track, “SWIM,” is confirmed as the lead single and is described as an upbeat alternative pop song about navigating life’s challenges . Rather than fighting against life’s currents, the track embraces forward motion as an act of self-love, with BTS frontman RM co-writing the lyrics . The song captures the group’s signature blend of introspective messaging and infectious energy.
Member Contributions
True to their legacy as self-producing artists, all seven members have left significant creative imprints on the project :
- RM is credited on every track except the interlude, serving as the album’s lyrical anchor
- SUGA and j-hope contributed to multiple tracks including “Body to Body,” “Merry Go Round,” and “NORMAL”
- Jimin worked on “they don’t know ’bout us” and “Into the Sun”
- V contributed to “2.0” and the closing track “Into the Sun”
- Jungkook played a key role in four songs, including “Hooligan”
Global Production Team
The album features collaborations with an elite roster of internationally renowned producers, including Diplo, Ryan Tedder, El Guincho, Mike WiLL Made-It, Flume, and JPEGMAFIA . The group held songwriting sessions last summer in Los Angeles to craft the project .
Comeback Events and Tour
To commemorate the release, BTS will hold a special live event, “BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang,” at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21, expected to attract up to 260,000 fans . The show will be streamed globally on Netflix, marking the platform’s first-ever globally livestreamed event from Korea .
A feature-length documentary, “BTS: The Return,” will premiere on March 27, offering exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the band’s reunion and album creation .
Following the release, BTS will embark on the Arirang World Tour (2026–2027), covering 34 regions and 82 shows across Asia, North America, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East .
