Presenter Fearne Cotton has shared an update on her recovery, saying she is “healing well” and feeling “almost normal” after having two benign tumours removed from her jaw. In a post on Instagram, the 43-year-old TV, radio, and podcast host revealed the gradual healing process with photos of her scars and expressed gratitude for the support she received during the surgery.

Healing and Gratitude for Support

Cotton posted four pictures of her jaw post-surgery, noting that while the healing was “fascinating,” her ear remained somewhat numb and her face tender. She wrote, “In less than three weeks you can barely notice where I had the tumour removed.” Despite some tenderness, she said she felt “good” and would “always wear this scar with pride.”

Expressing appreciation for her medical team, Cotton thanked her surgeon for making her feel calm and her nurses, particularly Nurse Jackie, for their caring and attentive approach during her hospital stay.

Connection with Davina McCall

The discovery of Cotton’s tumours came shortly after her friend and fellow TV presenter Davina McCall underwent surgery to remove a benign colloid cyst from her brain. Cotton acknowledged the support she received from McCall, calling her “a beacon of light and positivity” throughout the experience.

Personal Challenges and Support

In addition to her health journey, Cotton recently revealed her split from her husband of 10 years, Jesse Wood, the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood. Despite these personal challenges, she remains grateful for her health, support system, and the strength she has gained through the recovery process.

Cotton’s post offers an inspiring message of resilience and gratitude, shedding light on her journey toward recovery and her positive outlook on the experience.
