Gold Price in Pakistan Drops Sharply This Week

Islamabad, July 7, 2025: The gold rate in Pakistan dropped significantly on Monday, with the price of 24 karat gold falling by Rs. 2,500 per tola, trading at Rs. 353,000, down from Rs. 355,500 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

Alongside, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold saw a decline of Rs. 2,143, settling at Rs. 302,640, while 10 grams of 22 karat gold dropped by Rs. 1,964 to Rs. 277,430.

The local silver prices also followed the downward trend. Per tola silver decreased by Rs. 30 to Rs. 3,841, and 10 grams silver fell by Rs. 25 to Rs. 3,293.

In the international market, gold prices slid by $25, reaching $3,310 per ounce from $3,335, while silver rates declined by $0.30 to $36.57 per ounce.

This decline comes after a sharp surge of Rs. 6,100 per tola in gold prices last week, highlighting the ongoing volatility in both local and global precious metal markets.
