ISLAMABAD, June 21, 2025: The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate has officially announced its flagship Summer Internship Program 2025 for university students across Pakistan. The internship will be conducted over a six-week duration starting July 7, 2025, and ending August 15, 2025, with the main training sessions taking place at ISPR Directorate, GHQ Rawalpindi.
Nationwide Internship with Provincial Coordination
As part of the nationwide youth engagement initiative, ISPR will conduct the internship simultaneously in over 30 locations across major cities, including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Peshawar, Multan, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, Skardu, and others.
Each university department is instructed to nominate a minimum of 15 students from relevant academic disciplines, specifically those studying Mass Communication, Media Studies, International Relations, Strategic Studies, Peace & Conflict Studies, Journalism, Film & TV Production, Computer Science, and Political Science.

Internship Schedule
According to the ISPR circular and poster shared with universities:
- Duration: 6 Weeks (July 7 – August 15, 2025)
- Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
- Timings: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
This internship provides a unique chance for students to gain practical exposure to national and international media dynamics, understand defense-related communication strategies, and interact with senior journalists and communication experts.
Application Guidelines
Students from Rawalpindi and Islamabad are directed to apply through their universities. The required documents must be submitted to interactive@ispr.gov.pk by June 18, 2025. The application should include:
- A properly filled Excel sheet (attached in official ISPR communication)
- CNIC copy
- Police verification certificate
- Recommendation letter signed by the Head of Department (HoD)

This program is intended for students who have not previously participated in ISPR internships. It offers exclusive insight into Pakistan’s media strategy and national narratives, preparing students for future leadership roles in communication, media, and policy sectors.
