Islamabad, June 27, 2025:Â The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has stated that Lahore Allama Iqbal International Airport will stay closed daily from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM, starting from July 1 until September 15, 2025.
This step is taken in response to the growing presence of birds during the monsoon period, which causes safety concerns for flights.
The decision was taken during a recent meeting focused on the rising number of birds near the runway, with the goal of ensuring safer take-offs and landings.
