Islamabad, June 30, 2025: The world’s largest youth football tournament, Norway Cup 2025, is set to take place from July 26 to August 2 in Oslo, Norway, featuring over 2,000 teams from more than 30 countries. Once again, Pakistan will be represented by the “Muslim Hands FC” street child football team, a side that has gained international recognition for its inspiring journey.

This team is composed of underprivileged and street children from Pakistan who receive structured football training under Muslim Hands’ flagship “Maidaan” program. The program aims not only to develop their sporting abilities but also to promote personal growth, education, and lay the foundation for a secure and bright future.

Pakistan’s team has shown remarkable performance in previous years — winning the silver medal in 2023 and securing 4th place in 2024. Currently, the team is undergoing rigorous preparations at the Islamabad Sports Complex, aiming to once again raise Pakistan’s flag high at the international stage.

Notably, the team is the result of a joint initiative by the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and Muslim Hands, through which nationwide training camps were held in various cities to identify and nurture young talent. The final squad was selected with representation from all four provinces, promoting unity and national inclusion.
