Robbers kill tourist
ISLAMABAD: Robbers shot dead a tourist during a robbery attempt in Babusar Top. Local police have identified the victim as Mohammad Rashid from Punjab.
The fatal shooting incident occurred at the tourist destination of Babusar.
The dacoits attempted to rob tourists by blocking the road with stones.
Sensing the danger, the tourist who was driving car reversed the vehicle. It annoyed the robbers and they opened fire.
Tragically, this led to the driver’s death. At the time of the incident, six other passengers were present in the vehicle with the driver. They, nonetheless, remained unhurt in this incident.
The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan took notice of the tourist’s murder in Babusar. He directed the Gilgit-Baltistan Police and authorities to apprehend the culprits within 48 hours.

Meanwhile, the local court granted a three-day physical remand of human rights lawyer Imaan Mazari and Ali Wazir to Islamabad police on Monday. The court gave remand in a case related to mutiny.

ATC Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain announced the reserved decision on Monday. Judge gave the decision after both sides presented their arguments.
The court had permitted Imaan to meet her family and lawyers.
Islamabad police arrested Imaan Mazari on Sunday. She shared on social media platform X that unidentified people were breaking into her home.
Imaan Mazari is the daughter of PTI’s former human rights minister Shireen Mazari.
The police did not specify what case they were investigating the two. Imaan and Wazir have been vocal regarding the issues in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the court also granted three-day physical remand of Ali Wazir in sedition case. Islamabad police arrested Ali Wazir on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Judge Abual Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain of an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Monday handed Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leader Ali Wazir and human rights lawyer Imaan Mazari into police custody on a three-day physical remand.
The prosecution had sought a 10-day physical remand of the suspects in a case pertaining to sedition, intimidation, and inciting people.
Islamabad police registered cases against them after they delivered controversial speech a the recent PTM’s public rally in the federal capital.
