Islamabad, May 12, 2025: In a tragic a school van accident, at least four school children lost their lives while 10 others were injured when a student’s van collided with a tractor-trolley in Pir Mahal tehsil of Toba Tek Singh.
The accident happened on Shorkot Road near the motorway bridge, where a fast-moving school van with 18 students onboard crashed into a tractor-trolley and overturned.
Four children died instantly, while more than ten suffered injuries.

Rescue 1122 teams confirmed that the injured and deceased were taken to the THQ Hospital. The van driver fled the location following the accident.
Just last month, a similar tragic calamity took place near Gadani Mor in Hub, Balochistan, where three people were burned alive after a motorcycle and a car carrying Iranian petrol collided, exploding a massive fire.

Police sources said that although the fire brigade managed to stop the fire, both the car and the motorcycle were completely destroyed.
In a separate road crash in Nawabshah, five people returning from a wedding lost their lives, and 12 others were injured when their car slammed into a truck.
Initially, two losses were reported, but three more victims later succumbed to their wounds, increasing the total number of deaths to five.
