The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially announced the new date for Intermediate exams that were postponed earlier this year due to unforeseen circumstances. According to a statement from the board, the rescheduled papers—Islamiyat (Elective) and Principles of Accounting—will now be held on Monday, June 16, 2025.
This update affects thousands of students across the region who were awaiting clarification on when the postponed papers would be conducted.
Which Papers Are Rescheduled?
The exams that have been rescheduled include:

These papers were originally scheduled for May 7, 2025, but had to be postponed due to administrative or external disruptions, the board said. Board officials have urged all students to reach their designated examination centers at least half an hour before the paper begins to avoid any last-minute complications. Late arrivals may not be permitted to enter the examination halls once papers begin, in line with standard board protocols.
Roll Number Slips Remain Valid
In its announcement, BISE Lahore confirmed that previously issued roll number slips will remain valid for the rescheduled exams. Students do not need to obtain new slips and can use their original documents to gain entry into their respective exam centers.

BISE Lahore’s Statement and Guidelines
According to the BISE Lahore spokesperson, the decision to reschedule the exams was made with students’ interests in mind. “We understand that postponed exams can cause disruption in students’ study plans, and we’ve worked quickly to set a new date to minimize uncertainty,” said the board’s representative.
To help students prepare for the upcoming papers, BISE Lahore has also:

- Get adequate rest the night before the exam for optimal performance
