The Pakistan Army has officially opened registration for the 27th Lady Cadet Course (LCC-27), offering talented women a prestigious opportunity to join the armed forces as commissioned officers. This course continues the army’s commitment to gender inclusion and equal professional opportunity in defense services.
Online registration began on June 23, 2025, and will remain open until July 22, 2025. Female citizens of Pakistan meeting the required qualifications are encouraged to apply via the official recruitment portal: www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk.
Eligibility Criteria for LCC-27
To qualify for LCC-27, applicants must meet the following basic requirements:
- Gender: Female
- Citizenship: Pakistani
- Marital Status: Unmarried
- Age Limit: Not more than 28 years as of November 1, 2025
- Height: Minimum 5 feet (152.4 cm)
- Education: Minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 or 60% marks in the relevant field from a HEC-recognized institution
Candidates must also meet all medical fitness standards set by the Pakistan Army and pass the preliminary selection tests, which include written, physical, and interview assessments.
Corps and Academic Fields Open for LCC-27
The following specialized branches within the Pakistan Army are open to female applicants for LCC-27:
Corps of Engineers
- Required Degree: BS in Architecture
Corps of Signals
- Required Degree: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Security
Corps of Ordnance
- Required Degree: Textile Engineering
Corps of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering (EME)
- Required Degree: Mechatronics Engineering or Bio-Medical Engineering
Army Education Corps
- Required Degree: Master’s degree (or 16 years of education) in Geography
Remount Veterinary and Farms Corps (RV&FC)
- Required Degree: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
Each candidate will be placed in a corps that aligns with their academic qualifications and the army’s operational needs.

Commissioning as a Captain
Successful candidates who complete all phases of training will be directly commissioned as Captains in their respective corps. The initial training period is conducted at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul.
