Islamabad, 4 June 2025: Eid-ul-Adha Holidays The provincial administration of Balochistan has issued a revised schedule for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha break, amending its earlier announcement to bring it in line with the federal government’s official holiday calendar.
According to the latest notification, residents across the province will now observe the Eid-ul-Adha holidays from Friday, June 6 to Monday, June 9, 2025.
This adjustment replaces the previously declared time off, which had initially spanned from Thursday through Sunday.

The decision, announced by the Balochistan Services and General Administration Department, confirms that all public-sector institutions including government departments, schools, and colleges will remain closed during the newly declared four-day break. Emergency and essential services, however, will continue uninterrupted.
Officials indicated that the revision was made to align with federal directives and ensure consistency across provinces.
By shifting the Eid-ul-Adha holidays, the government aims to avoid confusion and facilitate smoother coordination across departments and services.
Authorities emphasized that the updated schedule is designed to offer government employees ample time to celebrate with their loved ones, while also ensuring the general public experiences minimal disruption to essential services.
