An online survey conducted by India Today revealed that the 78-year-old evergreen Indian actor, Amitabh Bachchan is still the most popular male actor in India.
According to the Mood of the Nation survey, Bollywood’s Big B received 29% of total votes and emerged as the most popular Indian superstar.
The Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar famously known as ‘Khiladi’, got 24% of the votes and is ranked second on the list.
Following these two, India’s beloved actress Deepika Padukone emerged as the most popular Indian actress while securing 17% of the total votes in the survey. The “Raam Leela” actress is set to work on five new film projects in 2021 including one with Shah Rukh Khan.
Priyanka Chopra followed her with 16% votes while Kangana Ranaut received 15% votes. Katrina Kaif is on number four with 12% votes.
