Islamabad, 6 May, 2025: Bank Alfalah has introduced a pioneering recruitment platform, “Worklee,” aimed at transforming how employment is accessed in Pakistan.

The newly launched mobile application is the nation’s first digital solution for hiring and remote working, offering flexible job opportunities through a fully virtual model.

Designed to cater to a wide spectrum of users, the Bank Alfalah initiative is particularly focused on enabling women seeking work-from-home roles, individuals with physical impairments, and freelance professionals.

The platform removes traditional workplace barriers and encourages diversity and inclusion in the banking sector.

The user-friendly Worklee app allows applicants to register, build their profiles, apply for job openings at Bank Alfalah, and where applicable perform their duties from home.

This initiative is aligned with the State Bank of Pakistan’s “Banking on Equality” policy, which promotes equal opportunity and financial empowerment for all.

At its initial phase, Worklee will support remote recruitment for customer support agents operating WhatsApp chat services.

However, the bank has indicated plans to expand the scope of remote roles in the future, including IT-related positions like software developers, depending on operational demands.

Commenting on the launch, Chief Human Resources Officer Faisal Farooq Khan emphasized that the app reflects the bank’s broader mission to make employment accessible to individuals often excluded from traditional workplaces.

He added that Worklee aims to create a workplace where talent and ability not physical presence determine professional growth and financial self-sufficiency.

The app is available free of charge on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Interested individuals can sign up, complete the required assessments and training, and begin offering services remotely, all through a streamlined digital experience.
