The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has addressed these concerns, clarifying that the work carried out was part of a scheduled and routine maintenance programme.

In a statement issued on May 19, 2025, the CDA explained that the upkeep of the Tayyib Erdogan Interchange in Islamabad’s F-8 sector was planned in advance and executed under regular maintenance protocols.
