Islamabad, June 4, 2025:Â City Traffic Police Rawalpindi has announced a detailed traffic management plan for Eid-ul-Adha, prepared under the supervision of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Beenish Fatima.
According to the official plan, over 645 traffic officers and personnel will be deployed across the city during the Eid holidays to maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure public safety. Special focus will be given to public parks, where 49 officers will be stationed for crowd and vehicle management.
To curb one-wheeling and car skating, five special squads will be active throughout the city. Additionally, ten anti-one-wheeling pickets will be set up at key locations to monitor and prevent any such dangerous activities.
Twelve DSPs and seventy-two other personnel will oversee special security measures. Extra traffic staff will also be deployed outside mosques during Eid prayers to manage the rush and facilitate worshippers.
