Saudi real estate giant Dar Global has announced a spectacular $300 million ultra-luxury resort development in the Maldives, marking the Trump Organization’s highly anticipated entry into the Indian Ocean paradise.
The landmark project, revealed on November 17, 2025, will feature an exclusive Trump-branded resort comprising private beachfront and overwater villas, a championship-standard golf course, premium wellness facilities, and signature Trump amenities. Located across a cluster of pristine islands in a secluded Maldivian atoll, the development promises unparalleled privacy and world-class sophistication.
Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, described the partnership as “a perfect synergy of Dar Global’s expertise in delivering iconic living experiences and the Trump Organization’s globally recognized standard of luxury.” The resort will cater to high-net-worth individuals seeking exclusive tropical retreats, with branded residences offering ownership opportunities alongside five-star hotel services.
This collaboration builds on Dar Global’s growing portfolio of Trump-branded projects, including the upcoming Trump International Resort & Golf Club in Oman and the Trump Tower in Jeddah. The Maldives venture further strengthens the Saudi developer’s expansion into premium international hospitality and residential destinations.
Construction is expected to commence in 2026, with phased openings targeted for 2028–2029. The development will also include sustainable design elements aligned with the Maldives’ stringent environmental regulations, ensuring minimal impact on the fragile coral ecosystem.
The announcement has generated significant buzz among luxury real estate investors and travel enthusiasts, positioning the project as one of the most exclusive upcoming resorts in the Maldives. With only a limited number of branded residences available, early interest is reportedly high from Middle Eastern, European, and Asian buyers.
As demand for ultra-luxury island escapes continues to surge, the Trump Maldives Resort is poised to redefine barefoot luxury when it welcomes its first guests later this decade.
