ISLAMABAD: PTI’s estranged leader Jahangir Khan Tareen finally announced the name of his political party _ Istehkam-e-Pakistan.
Tareen announced the name of the party after consulting his like-minded political leaders.
 Aun Chaudhry, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Sports and Tourism disclosed the name of their new party in Lahore. Chaudhry is a close ally of Jahangir Khan Tareen.

Tareen will announce the manifesto of his political party on Thursday (May 8).
According to sources, several PTI leaders are joining the party of Jahangir Khan Tareen after quitting the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf.Â
Moreover, Jahangir Khan Tareen discussed the pros and cons of his party at a dinner at Aleem Khan’s residence. At this dinner, he announced the name of the party.Â
Tareen became active following the May 9 riots and the fallout from it.

The top brass of the army vowed to tighten the “noose of law” around “planners and masterminds who mounted a hate-ripened and politically-driven rebellion against the state and state institutions”.
The consensus emerged during the 81st Formation Commanders Conference at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. The four-day conference concluded on Wednesday, according to a press release of the Inter-Services Public Relations issued in the evening.
The ISPR said, “Formation Commanders’ Conference is one of the military’s larger forums, which usually meets annually for discussion on strategy, operational and training matters, besides deliberating on organisational issues.”
