Metro Bus Service Suspended in Twin Cities
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif laid the foundation stone of a number of uplift projects in Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
On this occasion, the metro bus services remained suspended in the twin cities causing inconvenience to thousands of commuters of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Also, PM Shehbaz laid the foundation stone of Eleventh Avenue in Islamabad.

A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that PM Shehbaz will inaugurate the reconstruction project of Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed (Nishan-e-Haider) road known earlier as IJP road.
Premier also opened the Seventh Avenue overhead bridge of Srinagar Highway in Islamabad this morning.
Previous govt delayed projects
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the previous government delayed the projects due to poor planning.
PM Shehbaz termed the May 9 riots unfortunate incidents which disappointed the people of the whole country.
Premier said, “Our martyrs sacrificed their lives to end terrorism and a patriot could not even imagine that happened on May 9.
He said attributing the name of a national hero to the IJP Road was to give a message that the country recognizes their sacrifices.
Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb said that PM Shehbaz Sharif paid homage to the martyrs and inaugurated the avenue named after the hero of the nation _ Captain Karnal Sher Khan.
