Islamabad, Aug 8: President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday paid tribute to Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed (Nishan–i-Haider) on his 66th martyrdom anniversary, lauding his valor and sacrifice while safeguarding the motherland.
The president, in a statement, said that the nation saluted the brave son of the soil who sacrificed his life for the country’s security while fighting the enemy and setting an example of courage and gallantly.
“The whole nation feels proud of its martyrs. The Pakistani nation will never forget the sacrifices of its martyrs,” the president remarked and prayed to Allah Almighty to elevate the ranks of Major Tufail Shaheed in paradise
