The Sindh Assembly is set to commence its session for the swearing-in of newly elected Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs) on Saturday, February 24.
This development follows the approval by Governor Sindh, Kamran Tessori, of the recommendation made by Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh, Maqbool Baqar, to convene the first session of the Sindh Assembly on the specified date.
This inaugural session will witness the oath-taking of the newly elected representatives, marking the beginning of their legislative duties in the Sindh Assembly.

It is noteworthy that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) achieved a significant victory in the recent elections, securing a record 84 general seats in the Sindh Assembly.
This triumph, augmented by reserved seats for women and minorities, propels the PPP’s presence in the assembly to over 100 members for the first time, establishing a robust majority.
