SWAT/ISLAMABAD: Six volunteers working with the Al-Khidmat Foundation drowned in Swat River today as bridge of the river collapsed.
One dead body has been recover, another is missing out of six drowned in the river on Thursday.
The tragedy took place in the Peshmal area of the Swat Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

An under-construction wooden bridge on Swat river collapsed into the river as a result of which six volunteers drowned in the river.
All the victims were volunteers of Al-Khidmat Foundation and they were supporting the flood-victims in the area.
Out of six drowned, four were rescued timely while body of a volunteer had been recovered till the filing of the news.
One of the volunteers is still missing while a rescue operation for the victim was underway, according to police.
Al-Khidmat Foundation is one of the few social welfare organizations which are working for the relief and rehabilitation of people affected by the devastating floods.
