Meanwhile, schools situated in warmer districts will have a condensed break spanning December 22 to January 4, 2026, allowing for climate-appropriate scheduling.
Sindh Colleges Confirm Year-End Break
Sindh’s College Education Department has officially notified all public and private colleges regarding their winter recess period. Institutions across the province will remain closed from December 22 through December 31, 2025. Despite the vacation period, authorities have clarified that supplementary examinations for first and second-year students will continue according to the predetermined academic calendar without interruption.
Punjab Schools Get Three-Week Respite
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat formally announced the provincial winter vacation schedule through official social media channels. Schools throughout Punjab will close their doors from December 22, 2025, resuming operations on January 10, 2026. This arrangement provides students with a comprehensive 23-day break when weekends are included in the calculation.
