LAHORE – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rolled out strict security measures and a clear stadium checklist for fans attending the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 final on May 5 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium .
The final will feature Lahore Qalandars taking on Quetta Gladiators, with security officials expecting a packed house. The PCB has urged fans to arrive early—gates will open at 4:00 PM—to avoid delays caused by multiple security screening points .
Stadium Checklist – What’s Allowed and What’s Not
Strictly Not Allowed:
- Bags of any kind (backpacks, handbags, suitcases, laptop bags, and purses)
- Laptops, iPads, and cameras with detachable lenses
- Food, beverages, and bottled water (hydration will be available at designated points)
- Cigarettes, lighters, matchboxes, and e-cigarettes
- Power banks and selfie sticks
- Any sharp objects or flammable materials
Permitted Items:
- A small clear bag (max 12” x 6” x 12”) for women only, carrying essential items
- Mobile phones, wallets, keys, and sunglasses
- Personal mobility aids (walkers, canes, wheelchairs)
Digital, Non-Transferable Tickets
All tickets are digital and will be scanned via QR code at entry points. Tickets cannot be transferred after purchase, and only the original buyer will be granted access .
Fans are advised to travel light and cooperate with security personnel for bag checks and metal detection. The PCB emphasized that violators will be denied entry, and no storage facilities will be available on-site .
The security plan reflects lessons learned from previous PSL editions, aiming to balance fan experience with necessary safety protocols .
