Indian wrestler Ratika Phugat ended her life by committing suicide after losing a wrestling match.

According to Indian media reports, Ratika Phugat, cousin of renowned wrestlers Geeta Phugat and Babita Phugat, lost in the final of a wrestling tournament in Rajasthan.

According to Indian police, Ratika was staying at her uncle’s house, where she ended her life by hanging from a fan after the defeat.

It is said that Ratika lost by one point in the final of the wrestling competition.

Geeta Phugat confirmed the sudden death of her cousin in a Twitter post and said that it is a sad occasion for my family.

She also said that Ratika was a brave, fearless, promising and intelligent wrestler. We do not know why she took this step.

Geeta Phugat said that defeat is a part of life but we should not take extreme steps.
