Pakistan Participates in Key SCO Diplomatic Engagement
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar arrived in Kyrgyzstan on Thursday to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers meeting, the Foreign Office confirmed.
Arrival and Delegation
Dar was received on arrival by the Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister and Pakistan’s ambassador to Kyrgyzstan. Pakistan’s delegation to the SCO foreign ministers’ meeting is being led by Dar, underscoring Islamabad’s commitment to multilateral engagement within the regional bloc.
Schedule and Discussions
During his visit, Dar is expected to attend an informal dinner of the SCO foreign ministers alongside formal meetings. The deputy prime minister will hold discussions with fellow foreign ministers on the agenda of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers meeting, focusing on issues of mutual interest and regional cooperation.
