ISLAMABAD: Naeem Haider Panjutha, legal aide to the PTI chief, acknowledged that Imran Khan did not refute receiving land for the Al-Qadir trust from Malik Riaz, a property tycoon.
“Khan acknowledges the £190 million credited to the Supreme Court account, with both himself and his wife, Bushra Bibi, as trustees of the Al-Qadir trust.
He asserts that he personally gains no advantage from these arrangements,” Panjutha shared in a TV talk show.
Panjutha highlighted the redundant nature of the NAB’s prolonged questioning, stating that Khan had already addressed all inquiries and submitted relevant records pertaining to the Al-Qadir trust.
“When I asked Imran Khan about the NAB’s extensive interrogation, he mentioned being questioned briefly before officials shifted to casual conversations,” Panjutha added.
He alleged that the NAB was attempting to project significant progress from their proceedings, insinuating Khan’s failure to satisfy their inquiries.
