Imran Riaz Khan has been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Punjab, according to initial reports. The entire purpose and plan were well-known in advance. Custody is likely to be transferred to the FIA.
As per Barrister Mian Ali Ashfaq, “Imran Riaz Khan has been apprehended by the Anti-Corruption Punjab, based on preliminary information. The full extent of the purpose and plan behind this action had been known for quite some time. It is anticipated that custody will be handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) shortly.”
