After instructions to shut down markets in Sindh and Punjab early to preserve energy during a power crisis, marketplaces and retail centres in the federal capital would close by 9 pm.

Section 144 of Pakistan’s Penal Code will be applied in Islamabad, according to a notice.

Marriage halls must close by 10:00 pm, according to a statement. Medical stores, pharmacies, hospitals, petrol pumps, CNG stations, bakeries, milk shops, vegetable markets, tandoors, and bus terminals are excluded. Restaurants, businesses, parks, and movies close at 11:30 pm.
