Non-bailable arrest warrants for Malik Riaz, son issued in £190m case

An Islamabad accountability court, on Monday, issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Malik Riaz and his son, Ahmed Ali Riaz, in a scandal involving 190 million pounds.

Further details reveal that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a reference against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in the same case.

The court has also ordered the issuance of non-bailable arrest warrants for Barrister Ziaul Mustafa Naseem and Zulfi Bukhari. Additionally, Farah Khan has been made subject to similar warrants, in line with the court’s orders.

Judge Muhammad Bashir of the Accountability Court has summoned the accused to appear before the court on December 6. Moreover, the court has requested a report for the forthcoming hearing. The hearing for the 190 million pound corruption case is scheduled to take place at Adiala Jail.
