Fatima Sana Leads Pakistan Batting
Batting first, Pakistan posted 145-8 in 20 overs after Bangladesh’s bowlers restricted the Green Shirts’ batting lineup.
Captain Fatima Sana top-scored with an unbeaten 45 off 30 balls, hitting three fours and three sixes.
Opener Gull Feroza added 31 runs from 23 deliveries, including six boundaries, while Aliya Riaz contributed 25 off 22 balls with one four and two sixes.
Shawaal Zulfiqar scored 17 off 27 deliveries, while Ayesha Zafar made nine and Saira Jabeen scored five.
For Bangladesh, Ritu Moni, Shorna Akter and Nahida Akter took two wickets each, while Sanjida Akter Meghla claimed one.
Pakistan Bowlers Seal Bronze Medal
Chasing 146 for victory, Bangladesh struggled against Pakistan’s bowling attack and finished on 114-7 in 20 overs.
Shamim Akhter remained unbeaten on 46 from 45 balls, hitting four boundaries, while captain Nigar Sultana scored 25 off 30 deliveries.
Dilara Akter contributed 12 off eight balls, while Nahida Akter remained unbeaten on 10.
Umm-e-Hani Stars With the Ball
Umm-e-Hani was Pakistan’s standout bowler, taking 3 wickets for just 10 runs in four overs.
Tasmia Rubab, Fatima Sana, Nashra Sandhu and Ayesha Zafar took one wicket apiece.
