Quit PTI and join IPP
On Tuesday, former federal minister Asad Umar made a statement, asserting that he had received an invitation to quit PTI and join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) led by Jahangir Tareen. However, Asad Umar said that he had turned down the offer.
Addressing journalists outside an anti-terrorism court (ATC), Asad Umar expressed his unwavering allegiance to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He mentioned that the decision to invite him to join IPP by leaving PTI was their prerogative. Asad Umar wished them well in their political endeavors.

The former federal minister also highlighted the escalating issue of smog in Punjab, even before the onset of November. He emphasized the importance of using high-quality fuel to combat the growing smog threat.
It’s worth noting that a number of political figures have recently joined IPP after departing from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
On October 24, three prominent female politicians, who held central positions within PTI, left their party and decided to align with Jahangir Tareen’s Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party.
These three leaders, namely Andleeb Abbas, Sadia Sohail, and Sumaira Bokhari, announced their decision to join IPP after a meeting with Patron-in-Chief Jahangir Tareen, in which Aun Chaudhry was also present.
Speaking to the media, Andleeb Abbas emphasized that no political party or individual is more significant than the national cause.
She added that Pakistan is facing significant challenges in both the political and economic spheres, and her commitment is centered on the betterment of the common people.
