Swat Mishap
SWAT/ISLAMABAD: A mother and her five-year-old son fell off a chairlift into Mankyal Riveer in Swat and went missing.
Swat police and rescue teams are trying to locate the missing woman and her five-year baby.
Four people were on the chairlift when the mishap occurred.
The picture of a chairlift people are using for crossing both sides of the river.
According to Swat police, the family used a ‘makeshift’ chairlift to cross the river.
The incident unfolded when all of a sudden the toddler slipped from his mother’s lap and fell into the river. To save her baby, the woman also jumped into the river in an attempt to save her child.
As of now, a search and rescue operation is underway to locate the missing woman and child.
