Widespread Rains Forecast Across Pakistan from July 10-13

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast widespread rain and thunderstorms across the country from July 10 to 13, with heavy downpours expected in several regions.

Rainfall is anticipated across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan during the four-day period.

Punjab Weather Outlook

Upper Punjab districts including the Potohar region, Islamabad, Murree, and Galiyat are expected to receive significant rainfall. Thunderstorms are likely in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum, while Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, and Hafizabad are also in the forecast.

Central and southern Punjab districts including Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, and Bhakkar are likely to experience rain. Heavy showers are expected in Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur, Okara, Sahiwal, and Pakpattan. Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalnagar, and Rahim Yar Khan are also forecast to receive rain.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Northern Areas

Most Khyber Pakhtunkhwa districts are expected to receive rain with thunderstorms, including Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Charsadda, Kohat, and Hangu. Upper districts including Swat, Upper and Lower Dir, Chitral, Shangla, Buner, Battagram, Mansehra, and Abbottabad are also in the forecast.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will experience intermittent rainfall from July 11-13, covering Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley, Rawalakot, Bagh, Haveli, Poonch, Kotli, Mirpur, Bhimber, and various GB districts.

Balochistan and Sindh

Northeastern Balochistan districts including Zhob, Sherani, Musakhel, Barkhan, Sibi, Kohlu, and Ziarat will receive rain and thunderstorms.
