Niazullah Niazi, the advocate and Chief Election Commissioner of PTI, was also in attendance.

This move to conduct internal elections by the PTI comes in the wake of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) invalidating the previous polls for being non-transparent. The ECP mandated the PTI to hold fresh elections within a span of 20 days to maintain its “bat” symbol for the forthcoming general elections.
