Islamabad, June 2, 2025: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a fresh weather forecast predicting light rain and scattered thunderstorms across several regions of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), while other parts of the country will remain under intense hot and dry weather conditions.

- Punjab Rain Forecast:
- Light rain is expected in Bahawalnagar, Multan, Sahiwal, and Pakpattan.
- Scattered thunderstorms may hit Khanewal and Dera Ghazi Khan with gusty winds.
- Murree and Galiyat will see partly cloudy skies with a chance of showers, offering some relief from the heat.
- KP Rain and Thunderstorm Forecast:
- Rainfall likely in Kohistan, Battagram, Swat, and Mansehra.
- Abbottabad and Haripur may experience gusty winds with rain.
- Hot and Dry Weather Alert:
- The weather in Sindh and Balochistan will remain extremely hot and dry.
- No significant rainfall is expected in these southern and southwestern regions.
