On Tuesday, Rangers arrested PTI chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan from the IHC’s courtyard.

Importantly, after getting enough media limelight, the chief justice of IHC declared legal the arrest of Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case involving mega corruption charges.

Khan was arrested under the arrest warrants issued by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in this case.

Initially, the SC Registrar returned the petition on Wednesday with some objections to the plea.

However, on Wednesday, the PTI again filed the petition after addressing the objections of the Registrar.

The Supreme Court will examine the legality of the IHC verdict about the arrest of Imran Khan.
