In Swat, a house is destroyed by raging floodwaters

Provincial authorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have struggled to rescue residents of the hill stations of Swat, Dir, and Chitral due to the widespread destruction caused by floods triggered by unprecedented rainfall.

Some exclusive footage of a large house being swept away by floodwaters exemplifies the widespread destruction caused by the rains, which also included the destruction of roads and the loss of hundreds of lives.

Seconds after being struck, people can be heard yelling “Astaghfirullah, Astaghfirullah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar” as the building crumbles.
