The PTI won 183 seats in the 2018 Punjab Assembly elections, however 25 dissenting members were de-seated.

With five extra seats from the reserve’s quota and PML-Q’s 10 seats, the PTI would have 173 votes, but the government alliance would still lead by four.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered re-elections for the Punjab Assembly Speaker on July 22.

After the July 17 by-elections for 20 Punjab Assembly seats, the number game in Punjab assembly may change.
