OGDC Commences Production from Kunnar West Well-3, Boosting Energy Output

Islamabad, Dec 19: Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has successfully commenced production from the Kunnar West Well-3, situated in Hyderabad District, Sindh. The well operates at a wellhead flowing pressure of 1200 PSI with a 32/64 choke size, generating:

  • 3.5 MMSCFD of gas
  • 30 barrels of condensate per day
  • 3.8 metric tons of LPG per day

The gas produced has been integrated into the SSGCL network, ensuring a reliable energy supply for the region. OGDCL operates the Kunnar West Field under the Kunnar Mining Lease, holding a 100% working interest.

This achievement highlights OGDCL’s commitment to operational excellence and its key role in bolstering Pakistan’s energy sector, solidifying its leadership in the hydrocarbon industry.
