Islamabad, Dec 22: Pakistan has shown significant improvement in their performance across all formats of international cricket.

After a loss to Bangladesh, the selectors made bold choices, including dropping Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Naseem Shah following a Test defeat to England.

These changes brought results, as Pakistan won the remaining two Tests, securing their first series victory in a long time.

The team’s momentum continued with a one-day series win against Australia in their home conditions and a successful campaign against South Africa.

With victories in the first two matches, Pakistan has clinched the three-match series. Mohammad Rizwan’s team secured a tight three-wicket win in the opener, followed by a dominant 81-run triumph in the second.

In the second game, despite Heinrich Klaasen’s impressive 97, South Africa was bowled out for 248 while chasing a target of 330.

Earlier, strong contributions from Babar Azam (73), Mohammad Rizwan (80), and Kamran Ghulam (63) helped Pakistan post a formidable total.
